The bright-toned natural limestone facade is matched with copper floor-to-ceiling windows and cast copper railings, designed by architect Simon Bowden Light and shadow compose a melody and give life to the building.Inspired by Japanese porcelain glazes, the railings outside the windows have special textures and are full of artistic flair.
The Great Portland faces the street on three sides, allowing pedestrians to have new interactions with the streets and buildings.While respecting tradition, we look to the future, blending old and new to create a modern home in a historic area.
